If you do not have a copy of the book but would really like to complete these hours, we suggest that you look online for a used copy and then order the quizzes from us.

This text was written by physicians for physicians. It will be valuable for RNs working in dialysis centers or NPs/PAs who have patients with kidney disease. It presents comprehensive coverage of all aspects of kidney disease and incorporates the latest NKF Kidney/Outcome Quality Initiative guidelines on chronic kidney disease staging and management.

Comments from the Test Author
Your renal nurses are going to love this text. It certainly gets to the heart of all the major concepts for renal patients; it is a very in-depth text and is of high quality.

Comments from Pilot Nurses:

  • "I think some nurses may find the book a little overwhelming, but there is so much good information and I have used this book to look up things I wanted to know about."
  • "This course is not for the faint-hearted. Even with a strong renal/kidney background, I was challenged ... I will only recommend this quiz to peers who really want to know the subject well and are willing to dig for it. It is not for anyone looking for an overview to get a few quick easy CERPs."
  • "After being a dialysis nurse for 16 years, it is interesting that I still learned information that I did not know. The pictures, graphs, and illustrations were very helpful."
  • "Very technical from a nursing standpoint, but I learned a lot."
